The interior features the time-tested mechanical CHERRY MX technology and provides a choice of four switching characteristics. Multiple mechanical components under each key ensure a uniform feel. Depending on the model, without lighting or with vivid RGB lighting effects in more than 16 million colours. A variety of plays of colour, lighting modes and key assignments can be managed using the free CHERRY Utility software. A matching palm rest is available as an optional accessory to provide more comfort. The CHERRY MX 2.0S keyboard is characterised by minimal, functional shaping and a straightforward design. The functional classic keyboard was designed by Prof. Peter Raab, lecturer at Coburg University of Applied Sciences. True to the Bauhaus design principles, a perfect, optimised connection between the interior and the exterior of the keyboard has been created. The CHERRY MX 2.0 S has extremely small edging for a slim and modern look with clean lines and no unnecessary frills. Abrasion-resistant key caps ensure that the key labelling remains easy to read even after years of use.
