Available from Keyboard Specialists Ltd (KBS), the Tipro 'Free' iButton Reader has been designed with reading compatibility of 64-bit registration.
A magnetised socket firmly holds the iButton in place when inserted which then reads the unique 64-but registration number which is stored within every iButton.
This iButton security adds additional levels of protection in a high confidential area, such as Point of Sale and Retail applications.
This module can be used instead of password protections, ensuring security is at maximum, with 2 additional programmable keys which can be customised with macros or shortcuts to speed up data input.
