New Starts at KBS Thanks to Kickstart Scheme

Following the pandemic we were keen to provide young people work, skills and training. The Kickstart Scheme offers funding to create new opportunities for those aged 16-24 who are on Universal Credit.

The scheme is vital as it helps individuals who may face long-term unemployment. Here at KBS, we offer 6 month Kickstart Scheme job placements to help young people gain valuable experience and we are happy to announce our recent new starters! Ameenul Hoque, Hafsah Patel and Jordan Russell have started at trainee customer service advisors and Lucas McCabe has joined as a trainee business admin assistant. The Kickstart scheme will also allow us to give our recent new starters the opportunity to stay on with us for an apprenticeship.
